Bosch Appliance Repair Appliance Repair in Agoura Hills, CA

Factory-trained technicians, genuine parts, and same-day service for your Bosch Appliance Repair appliances.

Bosch is the quiet achiever of the luxury appliance world. While other brands compete on flash, Bosch has built its reputation on relentless engineering refinement — their dishwashers operate at whisper-quiet decibel levels, their refrigerators integrate seamlessly into cabinetry, and their laundry systems use half the water of conventional machines. When a Bosch appliance needs repair, the precision that went into building it should be matched by the precision of the service it receives.

Our technicians specialize in the complete Bosch product line. We understand the BSH Home Appliances engineering platform that underlies every Bosch product, and we carry the genuine parts and diagnostic knowledge to get your appliance back to factory specification.

Why Choose Us for Bosch Repair

Bosch appliances are engineered in Germany and built to exacting standards. Their dishwashers use a unique condensation drying system (and the newer CrystalDry with zeolite minerals) that’s fundamentally different from heated-dry competitors. Their washing machines employ an EcoSilence brushless motor designed to run for decades. Their refrigerators use VitaFresh climate-controlled drawers with separate temperature and humidity controls.

Servicing this technology correctly means understanding how these systems work as integrated units — not just swapping parts until the error code clears. Our approach is diagnostic-first: we identify root causes, explain what failed and why, and repair with genuine Bosch components that maintain the appliance’s engineered performance.

Common Bosch Issues We Fix

  1. Dishwasher E24 error — drain pump issue. This is the single most common Bosch dishwasher repair call. The error indicates the drain pump can’t evacuate water, but the cause can range from a kinked drain hose to a failed pump impeller to a blocked check valve. We diagnose the specific cause — not just clear the code — because an E24 that recurs after a reset indicates an underlying mechanical problem.

  2. Dishwasher E15 — water in the base pan. The anti-flood float switch has activated, meaning water has escaped the wash tub. Common sources: worn door gasket allowing splash leakage during wash cycles, cracked sump housing, or a failed water inlet valve that doesn’t fully close. We identify and fix the leak, not just mop up the symptom.

  3. Washing machine door lock mechanism failure. The electronic door lock assembly on Bosch front-loaders uses a wax motor actuator that can wear out over time. The machine either won’t start (lock won’t engage) or won’t open after a cycle (lock won’t release). We replace the complete lock assembly — attempting to repair the wax motor internally is unreliable.

  4. Refrigerator fan noise — grinding or buzzing from the back. The evaporator fan motor’s bearings wear over time, especially in the freezer compartment where temperature cycling stresses the lubrication. A noisy fan that’s still spinning will eventually seize, so proactive replacement avoids a no-cooling emergency later.

  5. Induction cooktop displaying “E” followed by a zone number. Power module (IGBT) failure on individual induction zones is the most common cause. We test the power stage for each zone independently and replace the failed module. On some models, the entire power board must be replaced; on others, individual components can be serviced.

  6. Oven not heating past 350 degrees — element glows but heat is insufficient. A partially failed bake or convection element can produce some heat but not full output. We measure element resistance and amperage draw against Bosch specifications. A reading that’s technically “not open” but outside tolerance still means the element needs replacement.

How Bosch Differs from Other Brands We Service

Bosch occupies a unique position — premium engineering at a price point below Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Miele. Their appliances are built on the same BSH platform as Thermador (Bosch’s sister brand), sharing some components while using different control interfaces and feature sets.

This engineering relationship is actually an advantage for our customers. Our experience across both Bosch and Thermador means we understand the shared platform deeply, including which components are interchangeable and which are brand-specific. We never assume a Thermador part works in a Bosch unit (or vice versa) without verifying compatibility.

Our Bosch Repair Process

  1. Diagnostic — $79, waived with repair. We run Bosch’s built-in diagnostic modes (available on most models by pressing specific button combinations) and supplement with our own multimeter and pressure testing.

  2. Assessment with the right context. We consider the model year, known failure patterns for that specific unit, and whether the issue is isolated or part of a broader system problem.

  3. Genuine Bosch parts installed to specification. BSH maintains excellent parts availability. Most common components are in our vehicle stock; specialty parts typically arrive within 1-2 business days.

  4. Testing and calibration. Dishwashers run through a complete cycle. Laundry units tested through wash, rinse, and spin phases. Ovens verified with independent temperature measurement. Refrigerators monitored through a compressor cycle.

  5. 90-day labor warranty plus manufacturer parts warranty.
